About Us
Meet the Chef!
Lynnette Jackson is truly a chef at heart. Food has always been a huge part of her life with her desire to be in the kitchen being fulfilled by bringing fresh baked muffins to high school friends and cooking meals for friends while in college. Her interest was sparked at the age of 6 when her father taught her how to scramble eggs.
After graduating from high school she began studies at Delaware State University and Bowie State University where she would receive a B.S. in Psychology and a M.A. in Human Resource Development respectively. Immediately after graduation she decided to follow her dream and enroll in Culinary School at the Art Institute of Washington where she would later receive an A.A. degree in Culinary Arts. While enrolled she would assume many roles including president of the Culinary Club, winner of the Iron Chef Competition, bakers assistant at a local bakery and volunteer at a local culinary school.
She is truly happy about the journey that God has allowed her to travel.
